If you’re in charge of a construction or industrial project with substantial material transportation challenges, you have a number of equipment options for getting the job done.
For scooping and shoveling of large volumes of loose material, a skid steer loader is often the preferred machine. Equipped with a large lifting bucket, these engineering vehicles can pick up big piles of dirt, debris, gravel, sand, cement, and other material and quickly transport it to a storage location, point of use, or truck bed.
For digging out compacted or embedded material in a foundation, pit, or trench, a full size or mini excavator is frequently the device of choice. Excavators boast a long, extendible arm with a bucket attachment at the end that can really dig into hard-packed soil thanks to powerful hydraulics.
On the other hand, if your materials challenges involve pre-packaged, pallet-loaded goods at a warehouse or loading dock, then a reliable forklift is what you’ll need. Forklifts are designed for the sole purpose of lifting and lowering on their fork attachments to and from trucks, shelving, storage locations, and other facilities. For indoor locations, an electric forklift is usually the best choice, while outdoor jobs can be serviced by either an electric or gas forklift.

Visitors to Key West Florida often come for the tropical setting, the famous Key West fishing, or to visit Dry Tortugas National Park. They might stay in a famous Key West bed and breakfast and explore the narrow streets of Old Town. There’s a spot downtown in Key West that might get overlooked by anyone who doesn’t have kids or who doesn’t have a avid fascination with marine life. It’s the Key West Aquarium, and it’s one of the best deals in town for getting to know what the real Key West is all about. Here in Key West’s oldest tourist attraction you can discover sharks, reef fish, lobster, tarpon and sting rays up close. You can touch sea cucumbers and crabs. You can gaze directly into the eyes of a Goliath Grouper. Nowhere else in town can you get to know the marine life quite so easily, so that you leave Key West with a real feel for the ocean, the reef, and the sea creatures that inhabit this wonderful underwater world.

If you’re taking a vacation to the Florida Keys, one thing you will want to know about is Florida Keys beaches. Although we’re not famous for having large beaches like in Miami Beach or Daytona Beach, we do have lots of beautiful spots for beachgoers. There are three categories of beaches for visitors: 1.State Park beaches like the one on Bahia Honda Key; 2. Public Beaches like the beautiful Sombrero Beach in Marathon; and 3. Private resort beaches for guests only like at Cheeca Lodge, for example.
The beaches at the Florida State Parks are clean, larger, and beautiful. Usually there are lots of amenities like showers, changing rooms, water, and a concession stand. Public beaches like Sombrero have anything from no amenities to full scale everything you need for a day at the beach. Sombrero has bathrooms, rinse-off stations, and playground. Of course private resort beaches will have top level luxuries like lounge chairs, float chairs, and maybe even drink service on the beach.
